When we plan a new service or make a funding decision, we involve local GPs.
The main decision-making authority at the CCG is our Governing Body.
This ensures clinical expertise is at the heart of our decision making.
At an early stage in planning any large project we also seek the views of a range of member practices, to help make sure that the new service will work well. We also hold regular meetings with general practice teams and neighbourhoods or Primary Care Networks (PCNs) – providing a valuable chance to discuss local healthcare issues, possible solutions and feedback from patients.
