Job description

We are looking to recruit four experienced and qualified Nurses, Midwives or Pharmacists. The successful post holder will be based at any of the North Central London large vaccination sites.

Working as an integral member of the NCL Workforce Programme team, you will be responsible for providing project management leadership of workstreams that support retention within North Central London Integrated Care System (ICS) Workforce Programme to ensure project outputs are delivered effectively and to time.

You will have the ability to gather and interpret complex data sets to inform into meaningful actionable workstreams and explain complex information in a way that is easy to understand across a range of stakeholders.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team working across the ICS at a time when we are developing system wide workforce initiatives.  You will take a lead on a number of projects within the programme, responsible for planning, day-to-day delivery, and subsequent performance management, adjusting plans as required to ensure that risks and issues are mitigated.  You will develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholder in the ICS and ensure alignment between NCL deliverables and local organisational programmes. 

You will be reporting into the NCL Workforce Programme Manager and working closely with the NCL workforce team including the Nursing Programme Manager.

Anticipated length: Until end of March 2022
The successful post holders will be based at one of the North Central London large vaccination sites and/or pop-up clinics (including bus), hospital hub or other sites as required.

Summary of the role:
The purpose of these roles is to provide safe and effective operational leadership within the large vaccination centres, pop-up clinics (including bus), hospital hub, and to oversee and support a large team of qualified and non-qualified staff. This includes ensuring that the services and activities are of the highest levels of safety and quality and are cost effective. The post holders will need to be the key point of contact and liaison for the national teams (and the host site as necessary) for each aspect of service delivery. Please see attached Job Descriptions for further information on the two roles.
